Steamboat Nordic Skiing

Welcome to Steamboat, Colorado... "Nordic" Ski Town, USA!  Everyone's heard about our champagne powder and incredible alpine skiing, but Steamboat is a world-class nordic destination as well.  Home to five nordic ski centers, all within 30 minutes of downtown Steamboat, the Yampa Valley provides a perfect backdrop for both skate and classic cross-country skiing.

Nordic ski packages are available using the Steamboat Valley Nordic Pass and any of Steamboat Resorts' 20 distinctive vacation properties.  Lodging options range from affordable hotel rooms to luxurious 5 bedroom/5 bathroom condominiums, and everything in between.  All of the Steamboat Resorts properties are located at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area.

Steamboat Valley Nordic Pass is a transferable pass that can be used at 4 of the 5 local Nordic Centers:

• Steamboat Touring Center
• Howelsen Hill Touring Center
• Lake Catamount Touring Center
• Vista Verde Ski Touring Center

Passes can be purchased from the Steamboat Resorts Reservations Department, when making your lodging reservations.  Day passes can also be purchased at the individual nordic centers.

Classes and camps are available all season long.  Whether a first-timer or veteran racer, Steamboat is perfect for a nordic ski vacation.  Daily and weekly nordic ski rental packages are available through the Steamboat Touring Center and the Ski Haus.
